EHDR AD 2.20 LOCAL AERODROME REGULATIONS
1. Report in the circuit area at least (joining) downwind leg and final leg with intentions (full stop or touch-and-go). These messages will normally not be acknowledged by Drachten Radio.
2. Backtracking on the runway is only allowed when the taxiway is unavailable.
3. Circuit flights are prohibited APR-SEP:
- SAT before 0800 and after 1500;
- SUN before 1000 and after 1500.
Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday as SUN
EHDR AD 2.21 NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
The area within the circuit area is very noise sensitive. Therefore adhere to the following rules:
1. Unless necessary for take-off or landing maintain 714 FT AMSL within the circuit area;
2. Respect the areas to be avoided;
3. Especially avoid overflying the ‘area to be avoided’ 1 NM WNW of the AD:
    - Take-off RWY 25:
        - Make a continuous climbing turn to the NNE to pass the windsock at 0.7 NM WNW of the AD on the eastern side.
        - After passing east abeam this windsock stay east of the ‘area to be avoided’ and leave the circuit area to the NNW or continue to downwind leg.
    - Landing RWY 07:
        - Proceed on baseleg always on the east side of the ‘area to be avoided’,
        - After passing the windsock 0.7 NM WNW of the AD, adjust your baseleg to start your turn to final at at least 314 FT AMSL.
EHDR AD 2.22 FLIGHT PROCEDURES

1 VFR FLIGHT PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS

Note:  for visual procedures see chart VAC - VFR procedures.

1.1 VFR traffic circuit area and traffic circuit

  1. The circuit altitude is 714 FT AMSL (700 FT AAL).
  2. The visual traffic circuit must be carried out within the lateral limits of the circuit area.
  3. The circuit area may not be overflown below an altitude of 1014 FT AMSL (1000 FT AAL).

RWY 25
  1. Righthand circuit.
  2. Entry/exit procedures as depicted on chart VAC - VFR procedures.

RWY 07
  1. Lefthand circuit.
  2. Entry/exit procedures as depicted on chart VAC - VFR procedures.
EHDR AD 2.23 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1 CAUTIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. UAV operations are possible.
2. Grass cutting may take place at irregular times.
3. For aircraft MTOM > 472.5 KG landing on RWY 07, the following applies:
- 100 HR PIC required;
- student pilots solo flights not allowed.
