AMSTERDAM/SCHIPHOL (EHAM): REDUCED LENGTH RWY 18L/36R

1 INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP:EHAM.

During the second quarter of 2025 work in progress on RWY 09/27 effects the operational usability of RWY 18L/36R as both runways are intersecting. Part of RWY 18L is designated construction area, therefore RWY 18L full length (TWY E6) is not available for take-off. The LDA of RWY 36R is reduced in order to retain a runway end safety area.

The actual time/day will be promulgated by NOTAM.

2 CHANGES


Take-off RWY 18L:
  • Take-off from the full length (TWY E6) is not available.
  • Declared distances for take-off from the intersection with TWY E5 remain unchanged:
    • TORA 2820 M;
    • TODA 2880 M;
    • ASDA 2820 M.
  • Landing RWY 18L is prohibited.

Landing RWY 36R:
  • The runway end is relocated, reduced LDA:
    • LDA 2582 M.
  • TWY E5 is not available for vacating aircraft (situated beyond the relocated runway end).
  • The last available runway exits are E4 and E8 (not equipped with runway exit centre line lights).
  • Runway end coordinates: 521850.38N 0044646.17E.
  • Check NOTAM for current ILS status.
