1 INTRODUCTION

This section supplements the following portion(s) of the AIP:EHAM.

Due to the creation of a dual taxiway at the south-west side of the airport, major reconstruction works are carried out. This includes the R-apron, RWY 06/24, taxiway exits S1/S2 and the taxiways in that area.

The works are carried out in phases as described below. The mentioned timeframes may be subject to change. The actual date and time will be promulgated by NOTAM.

A new AIP Supplement will be published for additional phases.

2 CONSTRUCTION PHASES

PHASE 1: 19 FEB 2024 – 18 MAR 2024
Work is carried out on RWY 06/24, TWYs S1 and S2 and the entry/exit to the R-apron. The availability during this period is as follows:

• RWY 06/24: CLSD.
• TWY S1, S2 and S9: CLSD.
• TWY B BTN TWY R and TWY A2: CLSD.
• TWY B BTN TWY A4 and TWY A8: CLSD.
• Remote holding positions P20 up to and including P23: U/S.
• Entry/exit R-apron on TWY R moved to location P23.
• Exit R-apron only to TWY A. Turn to TWY Q N/A.
• Temporary aircraft stands R83 and R84 AVBL (MAX B777).
• Aircraft stands R72, R74, S64 and S65: CLSD.
• TWY S: entry only via TWYs S7W and S8.

PHASE 2: 18 MAR 2024 – 08 APR 2024
Work is carried out on TWY S1 and S2 and the entry/exit to the R-apron. The availability is as follows:

• RWY 06/24: CLSD.
• RWY 18L/36R: ILS CAT I.
• TWY S1, S2 and S9: CLSD.
• TWY E1: CLSD.
• TWY B BTN TWY R and TWY A5: CLSD.
• Remote holding positions P20 up to and including P23: U/S.
• Entry/exit R-apron on TWY R moved to location P23.
• Exit R-apron only to TWY A. Turn to TWY Q N/A.
• Temporary aircraft stands R83 and R84 AVBL (MAX B777).
• Aircraft stands R72, R74, S64 and S65: CLSD.
• TWY S: entry only via TWYs S5 and S8.

PHASE 3: 08 APR 2024 – 25 APR 2024
Work is carried out on TWY S1 and S2 and the entry/exit to the R-apron. The availability is as follows:

• RWY 06/24: CLSD.
• TWY S1, S2 and S9: CLSD.
• TWY B BTN TWY R and TWY A4: CLSD.
• Remote holding positions P20 up to and including P23: U/S.
• Entry/exit R-apron on TWY R moved to location P23.
• Exit R-apron only to TWY A. Turn to TWY Q N/A.
• Temporary aircraft stands R83 and R84 AVBL (MAX B777).
• Aircraft stands R72, R74, S64 and S65: CLSD.
• TWY S: entry only via TWYs S5, S7W and S8.

PHASE 4: 25 APR 2024 – 01 JUL 2024
Work is carried out on TWY S1 and S2 and the entry/exit to the R-apron. The availability is as follows:

• RWY 06/24: ILS CAT I.
• TWY S1 and S2: CLSD.
• TWY B BTN TWY R and TWY A2: CLSD.
• Remote holding positions P20 up to and including P23: U/S.
• Entry/exit R-apron on TWY R moved to location P23.
• Exit R-apron only to TWY A. Turn to TWY Q N/A.
• Temporary aircraft stands R83 and R84 AVBL (MAX B777).
• Aircraft stands R72, R74, S64 and S65: CLSD.
• TWY S: entry only via TWYs S5, S7W and S8.

PHASE 5: 01 JUL 2024 - 02 SEP 2024
Work is carried out on TWY S10 with no operational consequences. The availability is as follows:

• Remote holding positions P22 and P23: U/S.
• Entry/exit R-apron on TWY R moved to location P23.
• Exit R-apron only to TWY A and B. Turn to TWY Q N/A.
• Remote holding positions P20 and P21: AVBL.
• Aircraft stands R72 and R74: AVBL.
• Taxiway S1 and S2: AVBL.

PHASE 6: 02 SEP 2024 - 31 DEC 2024
Work continues to end of year. The availability is as follows:

• Remote holding positions P22 and P23: U/S.
• Entry/exit R-apron on TWY R moved to location P23.
• Exit R-apron only to TWY A and B. Turn to TWY Q N/A.
• New taxiway S10: AVBL.
